This Single Mode LC Type module spans distances up to 10km (6.2 miles) and includes 1 x 1000Mbps-LX (LC-Type) Mini-GBIC connector. Other similar versions include a distance of 550 km using MMF media, 80 km and 40 km, both of which use SMF media type. The fantastic device comes with an industry standard SFP package and it is simply fantastic with its high density duplex LC connector which takes up less space than other connectors.
