"The TRENDnet 8-Port 10/100Mbps PoE Switch (model TPE-S80), brought to you by Hama, IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet (PoE) compliant and with 8 x 10/100Mbps Auto-MDIX RJ-45 PoE ports, reduces equipment and installation costs by delivering data and power over existing Ethernet cables to Power over Ethernet (PoE) enabled devices such as Access Points and IP Cameras.

Boost office efficiency and reduce network congestion with a store and forward switching method and total switching capacity of 1.6Gbps and full wire-speed non-blocking reception and transmission. It has a back pressure Flow Control for half-duplex mode and IEEE 802.3x Flow Control for full-duplex mode and boasts a 512Kbits RAM Data Buffer and 1K MAC address entries. LED indicators display device status for easy power management and troubleshooting with its ability to show power, link/activity and PoE Act/Status. An internal power supply reduces clutter and delivers 15.4 Watts to each PoE port. A convenient on/off button is located on the back of the switch. Non-PoE devices can connect to the switch—auto-sensing PoE technology cuts power to non-PoE connected devices. Use TRENDnet´s PoE Splitter with the TPE-S80 to install non-PoE devices in remote locations.
