The TRENDnet 8-Port 10/100/1000Mbps Web Smart PoE Switch, brought to you by Hama, with IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet (PoE) as standard, IEEE802.3x flow control for full-duplex mode and back pressure flow control for half-duplex mode, offers advance switching controls and provides power to network devices using Ethernet cables. This scalable and cost effective solution allows a managed network to efficiently expand to previously unattainable levels. The 8 x 10/100/1000Mbps Auto-Negotiation and Auto-MDIX Gigabit Power over Ethernet RJ45 ports are fantastic and it supports PoE power to a maximum of 15.4 watts for each PoE port.

The feature rich 8-port switch offers advanced network management, Link Aggregation IEEE 802.3ad and fail over, VLAN, Port-Mirroring, IGMP Multicast functions, Multicast Storm, Broadcast Storm and Flood control, Trunking and QoS technology to meet the accelerating demand for secure manageable networks.

The 7-Segment LEDs for individual port status (PoE class, maximum power allocation) and 7-Segment LEDs for system planning (display total balanced system power) show device status for easy power management and troubleshooting. The switch has a 144 kbytes RAM data buffer and 8K entries MAC address table and it supports integrated address look-up engine, automatic address learning and address aging. The switch has full wire-speed non-blocking reception and transmission as well as a store and forward switching method. It supports a Jumbo Frame in all speeds (up to 9kbytes packet frame size) and the extensive diagnostic LED´s (as above) are clearly displayed on the front panel.
